Positive: The interior is absolutely stunning, and the layout is great. We loved having two separate bathrooms – one with a shower and one with a bathtub. The open-plan kitchen and living area is huge and very comfortable. The outdoor spaces are the highlight. The small balcony gives you a beautiful sunrise view. The huge terrace with barbecue pits offers the best place to relax while watching the sunset over the sea. The shared pool area is peaceful and has a wonderful waterfall massage feature where the water runs down – so relaxing for your shoulders and back. What made it extra special was the separate, huge relaxation space for couples. It comes with a large daybed and an adjustable sunshade: you can tilt the top part to protect against the sun from above, and slide the left and right panels for side protection. Very spacious and well thought out. The location is extremely quiet – perfect for couples who truly want to relax and chill. There is no noise at all. We highly recommend renting a car, although we moved around easily with Bolt and Uber. And finally, the owners Roger and his girlfriend were absolutely, absolutely wonderful and warm. We wish we had more time – we are definitely coming back. Their cats are so adorable too!

Positive: We liked having the place to ourselves and the pool area was very relaxing. The use of dressing gowns was a nice touch. It was a good base to explore the island of Gozo.

Negative: Getting the suitcase up the spiral staircase was difficult but once we were up there we had everything we needed.

Positive: The pool was nice with comfy sunbathing loungers .....Convenient for a Gozo base Recommendations from host to visit the museums places in Victoria and on the island were very good. Could walk into Gharb also for evening food. Amazing Pizza's and pasta dishes from the town bar!.

Positive: Wonderfully quiet with a nice pool, in a very friendly village with lovely architecture. Malta 40 years ago! The farmhouse is a tranquil, adults only sanctuary, and offers a selection of 3 different sized rustic charm apartments. We chose the smallest which was perfectly adequate and opened straight on to the pool area. The next one up is more spacious, with a slightly larger kitchen dining area. But if you're feeling flush, you should go for the upstairs penthouse, with its own large balcony - where you can enjoy a Barbie whilst sipping a Spritzer watching the sunset. Each room has its own poolside comfortable double lounger with sunshades. Perfect for chilling out. Walks and things to do! We had some great walks to the Gharb (pronounced harb) village, where there is a mixture of restaurants to enjoy; all pretty good. Don't miss the Ic-Centru by the church, where Rosien cooks like Momma, and looks after everyone. A place to meet and enjoy the locals and their customs. Including a Saturday night Gozo karaoke with an MC who looks and acts like one of the Pet Shop boys. Great fun. You can also enjoy a fifteen minute walk to the San Lawrence village, which has a couple of good restaurants. Beware of its local Artisan Centre, which has a Pâtisserie to die for! Aptly named Angeles. Perfect anytime of day but particularly for brekkie or afternoon tea. You'll need to walk those cals off afterwards And for a real treat, do the twenty minute walk to the Ta Pinu Shrine. It's a magnificent basilica where you can say a prayer amongst the miracle souvenirs, and squeeze one in for yourself; let's hope it comes true! Nowhere is far on Gozo. We enjoyed the fiestas, especially the huge one at Xaghra (Zara), with its processions and fun music and dancing. This is the nicest place we've been on our mini Euro tour. Three days turned into two weeks. And we can't wait to return next year.

Positive: The tranquillity and peace. Nice layout ambience, both inside and outside near the pool area. It is located in a very perfect location where you can sit or walk just outside the property and watch sunset. The apartment had two shower rooms perfect for privacy if travelling with friends. Place was clean! Landlords were very helpful and courteous.

Negative: Take a mosquito repellent with you or plug ins for mosquitoes. You will be next to nature, so it's something to be expected.
